Some bridal stores have you pull dresses by yourself - um, no pressure!
Others keep everything so buttoned-up and off-limits that you’re afraid to share your opinion or stand too close to the racks.
At Love Birds, we take a different approach:
1 - Your mom or best friend won’t have to break a sweat as they sprint to pull, hang, and return dresses to the floor.
Gosh no. Your bridal stylist will take the time to get to know you and how you want to feel in your wedding dress before your appointment. That way, we can skip those first-meeting butterflies on the day of. You’ll feel like you’re meeting an old friend the minute you walk in the door.
Plus, with your style, budget, and size in mind, we’ll already have dresses pulled and waiting for you to try on in your own private or semi-private loft!

2 - But that doesn’t mean you don’t get a say.
All of our dresses are on display (not tucked away in plastic bags). If y'all see something you love - tell us!! Of course you can try that on. Feel free to browse, touch the fabrics, take your time, and grab things you like, too. If that’s how you prefer to shop, we’re here for it.

3 - You can tell us exactly what you want, or have no idea at all!
We pride ourselves on taking the time to get to know our brides and staying within their size, style, and budget requests ... bringing the vision for their dress to life, or creating it from scratch. An added bonus? We’ve been doing this for 20 years! So if we have a hunch on a dress that we think you’ll love, we know exactly where to find that, too.
With my stylist’s expertise and creativity, I saw endless possibilities and found my dress!

1 - Your appointment is booked!! Get excited, friend.
You’re always welcome to stop by and see what we have in store, but to try on dresses and for the most personalized support we can offer, we highly recommend booking an appointment. Click here to book.
Note: Most brides try on dresses 6-9 months before their wedding date. If your day is sooner than that, get in touch with us anyway! We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
2 - We’ll erase those pre-shopping jitters.
As soon as you’re on our calendar, we’ll set you up with a phone call to meet your bridal stylist before your appointment. She’ll get to know you and all the important details you’d want a trusted friend to know before they helped you choose your wedding dress - style, budget, vision, and answers to any questions you have.
3- Your appointment is finally here!
We could not be more excited to spend this time with you. Bring a select crew of your closest family members and friends, and get ready to step out of the rush of wedding planning and feel joyful, relaxed, and celebrated.
Try on dresses, relish the oohs and ahhs of your loved ones, sip some bubbly, and enjoy this precious time in your life.
4 - You found the dress!
Did we cry happy tears for you? Yes, we definitely did. You found ‘the one.’ You got that feeling when you tried it on - just like you always hoped you would. Once the champagne celebration has quieted down, and you’re ready, we’ll get you all set up for alterations.
5 - In-house alterations make things easy.
We do alterations in-house, so you won’t have to worry about hauling your dress across all of Mississippi in search of a bridal gown seamstress, or navigating this process on your own. Breathe that sigh of relief - the same folks who know you and your dress best are also handling these important finishing touches.
Note: 99.9% of dresses will require alterations. It’s just part of the process.
6 - It’s your wedding day!
You’re all smiles. Coffee in hand. Looking at your dress as it hangs from the church window while you get your hair and makeup done. You can’t wait to get married. You can’t wait to get married in that dress. Expect another ‘happy’ to arrive from us. We’re thinking of and celebrating with you, as always.

THAT AWKWARD MOMENT WHEN…
Your mom has nowhere to sit at your bridal dress appointment ...
... because there’s one mirror, two chairs, four brides and their entourages, and three teenagers in prom attire all using the same fitting area?! Uh-uh. No way.
That’s not what your experience is going to be like, sweet friend. You’ll have your own private (or semi-private) mirror and loft fitting room. Seats for everyone. Refreshments. And the 1:1 support of your bridal stylist.

Private Loft:
- $50 appt. fee (applied to wedding gown purchase)
- 90-min. private bridal appt.
- Up to 6 guests
- ‘Happy’ gift from our team
- Bubbly toast when you say YES!
Semi-Private Loft:
- Complimentary appt. fee
- 90-min. semi-private bridal appt.
- Up to 5 guests
- ‘Happy’ gift from our team
- Bubbly toast when you say YES!
Because you’re wondering ...
Wedding Dress Pricing & Sizing Details:
- All of our bridal gowns are priced between $1,500 and $4,000 and are available to try on in-store in sizes 0-38, with custom orders available for sizes 38+.
- Most of our bridal gowns are special-order, meaning what you try on in the store is a sample, and we order it for the size and/or color requested. But, if you find yourself short on time, we also have many gowns available for direct purchase.
- When you purchase your dress on your first visit, we’ll also take $100 off (for regularly priced gowns at $1,500 and up).
